1) The Gopal Krishna Gokhale Memorial Annual Prize for the most outstanding article published in it by one or more authors (irrespective of age) be awarded to Swathy Krishna and Shacheendran V for the article entitled “Impact of Goods and Services Tax on the Economic Growth of India” (Vol. LXVI, No. 1, March 2024, pp. 115-124) 

2) The D.R. Gadgil Memorial Annual Prize for the most outstanding article published in it by a single author below the age of 40 years be awarded to Tanusree Paul for the article entitled “Towards a Kuposhan Mukt Bharat: An Exploration of Nutrition Sensitive Budgeting in India” (Vol. LXVI, No. 1, March 2024, pp. 1-34).

2023:

1) The Gopal Krishna Gokhale Memorial Annual Prize for the most outstanding article published in it by one or more authors (irrespective of age) be awarded to Apurva Apurva for the article entitled “Discovering Boundaries, Building Dialogues: Historical Sociology, Economics, and the Evolution of the Dominant Caste in Western India” (Vol. LXV, No. 2, June 2023, pp. 133-152) 

2) The D.R. Gadgil Memorial Annual Prize for the most outstanding article published in it by a single author below the age of 40 years be awarded to Antara Dhar for the article entitled “Financial Conditions of Elderly People in Different Regions of India” (Vol. LXV, No. 4, December 2023, pp. 409-423).

2) The D.R. Gadgil Memorial Annual Prize for the most outstanding article published in it by a single author below the age of 40 years be awarded to Vibha Iyer for the article entitled “Did Indians Import Gold Only for Hoarding? A Re-Examination of Gold Flows in British India between 1861 and 1919” (Vol. LXIV, No. 3, September 2022, pp. 203-224).
